Where has the victrix gone? //

Pushed into womanhood,

stripped off of her naivety.

Her laughter, all forgotten.

Her books all snatched away,

with her dreams all burnt down.

Her dreams, all strayed.

Forlorn she stood,

with fragmented desires, and

fairy tales which were all stomped upon.

She – sent into a world where the vermillion rules and the voice of a

man holds the supreme power.

Shattered ruins of literacy, laughter and liberty just lay there. No one

came for her backing.

And now they’d ask,

“Where has the victrix gone?”
