Meghan Kadambe Dhawan (she/her/hers) is a Canadian-born, Indian-American cinephile, film reviewer/writer, poet, singer, dancer, painter, aspiring actress and podcaster. She has written for various online publications, such as Dear Asian Youth, Justice for Society, and The Pillar, her university’s newspaper club. As a Staff Writer for the club for over two and a half years, Meghan wrote both poetry and opinion pieces on film and television with societal commentary embedded within, and served as the Student Voice Editor on the club’s board for one year. While Meghan mostly writes film and television content, she has also dabbled in writing political, governmental, and environmental commentary pieces. At the moment, Meghan is a freelance writer for Dear Asian Youth (@dearasianyouthliterature), SheMade Digital (@shemade.digital), Gen-Zine (@thegenzine), as well as various blogs and other literary magazines. Meghan is currently based in Warren, New Jersey, and can be found on Instagram @meghan_dhawan
