Ever since I was six, I have gone to after-school classes - not tutoring for subjects that I was bad at, but learning a few grades higher in order to keep a pristine report card.

In this fast-paced work environment of the 21st century, there is a toxic work culture spreading at an alarming rate. Until more is done to sustain high-quality ethics in the work environment more and more cases of mis-conductance will be reported.

But while social media is a great tool, we have to remember that not everything on the Internet is true. Facebook and Twitter have made headlines in recent years for spreading misinformation, especially concerning the 2016 election.

The systems that propped them up overtly, however, are gone—institutional racism being held as a form of ‘subtle’ racism, even if there is not much that is subtle about it, is still alive and well as we are all painfully aware of.
