Unattended Bags, a creative collective.
Unattended Bags, whose members are visual artist Min Sohn and writer Jules Chung, are a creative collaboration spanning more than 30 years. Their name takes a sexist trope for older women and reclaims it as a playful symbol of freedom, danger, and combustible creativity. While each member pursues individual projects, the collective mines work, family, domestic arts, and immigrant female identity as material to be examined and transmuted into joyful creativity.
Unattended Bags are the recipients of the Icebox Residency with The Cabins.
