For our fifth issue, Overachiever Magazine explores the MeToo movement's impact on the Asian community. In a traditionally patriarchal, conservative society, a movement that centers around female empowerment, open dialogue about sexual assault, and holding men accountable was sure to make waves. In this issue, our talented contributors share their own MeToo stories, show how our culture excuses sexual assault and victim blames, and even show the side we willfully ignore of a prominent historical figure.

I want to thank every woman who shared her story. It takes a lot of courage to give even an opinion on the topic in our community. You are paving the way for a more open, honest discussion and culture.
