The Literary Issue
Welcome to the Literary Issue! I am privileged to work with many, many Asian female writers. In this issue, there are articles reviewing literature by bestselling Asian authors, movies written by and starring Asian women, and more. Our cover star, Rowan Hisayo Buchanan, is one of my favorite authors, I was utterly starstruck while interviewing her. Be sure to check out her interview and upcoming novel! Thank you to the team at OM, the writers for this issue, and Maryanne Zamora for the cover. You all make Overachiever possible. Enjoy the issue!
Yours,
Rehana Paul

Her name is Lexie Liu, the new voice of China and China’s rap warrior queen.
