Beauty Boss- Reshaping perspectives

This week’s beauty boss is Fernanda Ly, a Chinese-Australian model who walked her first Louis Vuitton runway at in 2015. We love a young beauty boss! Today, she’s writing articles for Vogue about needing more Asian representation, slaying on Instagram, and, direct quote from Dazed, being “the Pepto-haired Australian model defying convention with her goth style and poker-straight pink locks”

Our œuvre achiever of the week is Katie So, an illustrator from Vancouver, British Columbia. These days, she’s applying her considerable talents to tattooing, and is a resident artist at Black Medicine Tattoo. That’s not all, though- her comics have been featured in the Huffington Post, Room Magazine, Absolute Magazine, and more.

The do’s and don’ts this week and Overachiever’s supreme interpretation:
January 12: *Don’t* do any home repairs- you’ve put off changing that flickering lightbulb for the past 10 days, put it off for one more!
January 13: Do propose to someone… that you should go shopping!
January 14: Do sign a contract, whether it’s a new cell phone or professional one
January 15: Don’t open a business today- instead, tell us about your business! There’s nothing we like quite as much as an entrepreneurial overachiever
January 16: Do some housecleaning, Marie Kondo your life!
January 17: Do move house: yes, finally!
January 18: Do travel: it’s Friday, hit the road for a fun weekend away
January 19 Do visit a friend or relative today- we all need to do it more
