The Pursuit of HAAPI-ness

What does “The Pursuit of Happiness” mean to you? How can we simply ‘just be happy’ when we are all finding our place in the world, balancing work or school, trying to afford the costs of living, navigating life’s ups and downs, and learning more about our cultural identities in mostly western spaces? ‘The Pursuit of HAAPI-ness’ is an introspective theme told by Hawaiian, Asian, and Pacific Islander voices to explore our inner and outer joy, often in sad times.

Deadline Extended

Deadline Extended

After carefully evaluating the needs of the team after the Spring 2024 application window, Overachiever Magazine has decided to extend the deadline for the following key positions: Development Director, Editorial Director, Social Media Director, and Activists.

In My Element

‘In My Element’ is a fun theme to highlight the four main elements of earth, wind, fire, and water – but the four elements are only a starting point for our creativity. This issue is about connecting with your element, connecting with the natural world, and hopefully, a deeper level of self-awareness can help you in your personal journey with whatever creative callings you may have.
